FX13 Studios specializes in special effects for the Dark Attraction industry, film and television. Based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, FX13 Studios is led by a team of 5 partners with over 55 years combined industry experience providing special effects for the Dark Attraction/Haunted Attraction industry.

FX13 Studios has operated one of the largest and most successful Haunted Attractions in Iowa from 2001 through 2009 under the Frightmare Forest name. In 2010, we are launching a new haunt with a brand new location; The Circle of Ash.
Our new facility houses both The Circle of Ash and the business operations for FX13 Studios. Launching a new haunt was a key ingredient in allowing us to expand the studio operations to fulfill the ever growing needs of our clients, while still maintaining the heart and soul of a volunteer-driven Haunted Attraction.
